No. Pro is currently a one-time purchase.
What can I do for free?+
You can try the core voice note workflow, including recording or importing audio and reviewing the generated transcript, summary, and key moments.
Do I need an account?+
No. HushNote is not built around account creation before you can use the recording workflow.
Does HushNote support Chinese and English?+
Yes. The App Store listing verified on July 13, 2026 shows support for English + Simplified Chinese, and version 1.3.0 can transcribe natural mixed Chinese-English speech.
Is cloud summary required?+
No. Cloud summary is optional and only works if you choose to connect your own third-party model provider.
Which models need an extra download?+
Recording, live transcription, and speaker processing are ready to use. Only large local summary models are downloaded on demand, and you can choose, remove, or download them again in Settings.
Will deleting a summary model remove my recordings?+
No. Model downloads affect only local summary generation. Removing a model does not delete recordings, transcripts, key moments, or existing summaries.
Why can speaker labels change after recording?+
Live labels prioritize low latency. After recording, HushNote uses the complete audio to recalibrate the speaker timeline, so the final attribution may be more complete.
Where should I send bug reports or feature requests?+
Discord is the current public support channel for issues, requests, and product feedback.
